Can I pack anything in my vehicle?

According to the FMSCA, auto transport car carriers are not licensed to carry personal belongings. However, you may place up to 100 pounds in the trunk or rear of your vehicle. Please do not load fragile items, sentimental items or those of high value.

Do I need license plates on a vehicle to ship it?

No, we just need the vehicle and keys.

What details do you need to place an order?

Once you receive your quote, all we will need to get started is the full pick up and delivery address & best contact person on each side. The total quote is typically broken out into two payments.

How far in advance should I place my order?

You should place your order at least 1-2 weeks before the date you need your vehicle picked up. If you need an ASAP pickup, we can always accommodate but keep in mind, our typical pick up time is between 1-3 business days.

How many days will it take for me to get my vehicle?

Depending on the route of your shipment, delivery times can range from 2-3 days, 3-5 days, 5-7 days and 7-10 days. Please note auto transport car carriers are limited to 8 hours of drive-time per day and an average speed of 55 miles per hour, so assume that carriers can drive 400 miles per day or so.

How can I track my vehicle?

Car Carrier Network provides status updated on the shipment of your vehicle via text, email or phone call. In addition, we will give you your driver’s name and telephone number once your vehicle is assigned so that you may call them and discover where they are. If you cannot reach your driver you may call us and we can find out exactly where your vehicle is at any time.

What kind of carrier will my vehicle be transported on?

Most vehicles are transported on an open auto transport carrier. These carriers typically hold between 8-10 vehicles at a time. We do offer enclosed transports as well which is typical for classic car transports, high-end luxury vehicles or vehicles with sentimental value. Enclosed carriers will include up to $250,000 of insurance and cost about $400-600 more on average.
